Real Estate Law Experience
When many of our clients began asking us for advice in real estate transactions,we decided to put prior real estate experience to work and develop new skills. As an Assistant Attorney General, Jacqueline Rixen represented the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in highway condemnation proceedings. She developed expertise in a variety of real estate and land use issues. For example real estate valuation, title commitments and policies, zoning and development restrictions, and leases. Ms. Rixen is a member of the Real Estate section of the Austin Bar Association and of the State Bar of Texas. She has also successfully completed courses in real esatate valuation.
